Pierre sitting on some kind of rock wall in Paris.  Here is another example of what a ninja can do that a regular person can’t, they are almost undetectable.  Ninjas do this sort of thing all the time, you just don’t see it because of their ability to remain unseen.

Earlier I said that it was unexpected to see someone I knew while we were in Paris but I think that it is even crazier for a ninja to run into other ninjas they know.   If you remember from long ago I posted pictures from the ninja Flora and her sister Sparkle-Heart-Pinkie-Pie when they went to France.  They happened to see Pierre while he was waiting in line at the catacombs.

After these pictures were taken Pierre parted ways with his traveling companions and left to travel France on his own, we hope he is having a good time.

Anyway this ninja his name is Pierre he is one lucky ninja, he got to go to Hawaii and France.

Sitting on some kind of sculpture, ninja’s are lucky they can do this sort of thing.  If a regular person did something like this, a guard that you didn’t even know was there would come rushing up and yell at you to get off the sculpture, not that I have had any kind of experience like that.

Okay okay if you have to know,  when I was in college, I was at a art museum in California, they had a display of  really tiny carved oriental sculptures, they were no more than 2 inches tall.  I leaned in to close to try to get a closer look at some of them and set of an alarm and had a museum guard get mad at me.

Today I want to tell you that I am going to be a part of the Taylorsville Bijou market, this is the first time they have brought the show north of Utah county.  So if you are in the area, you should really stop by between 9:00-5:00, and get some of your Christmas shopping done.  It’s a great way to find fabulous, one of a kind gifts to give to the people you love.

If you come you better come and say hi to me and the ninja’s!

Next Sat. I am going to be at Craft lake city with my ninjas and other goodies. It’s the biggest and coolest craft fair that I know of in Utah, you really don’t want to miss it there is going to be a ton of rad stuff to buy from Utah’s best crafters and artists.

He thought this fire pit where the people cook their food was interesting,  makes me glad to have an oven and stove.

Then when he was visiting the Elmina Castle he wanted a picture sitting on one of the walls and just when the picture was about to be snapped a big gust of wind came and blew him off the wall.  Good thing he was a ninja and used his ninja skills to land safely.

Then after his fall he was able to climb the wall and join the tour group again

Some of you said that you were interested in making some dolls to donate to the orphans in Ghana but I wasn’t able to tell you a date of when the needed to be done by.  I talked to my sister today and they are still waiting to hear when they will be going back to Ghana to hopefully be able to pick up their little girl,  hopefully that will be sooner than later.   Liz, my nephews teacher is going to be going back to Ghana in Dec. so if you aren’t able to get the dolls done to send with my sister, they will still get there, and they will make some kids there very happy.  You can email me at amy@radseams.com and I can get you the information on where to send the dolls.

When my sister left Ghana to come home she left the ninja with my nephew’s school teacher Liz who is living in Ghana for the summer, she is working with one of the schools there.  She takes the ninja to school with her,  this ninja is not only getting to see what Ghana is like but he is getting to meet the kids and go to school with them too.

He gets to learn about their culture and learn some rhythm.

Aren’t those kids so cute!  I’m going to be sending over some more ninjas when my sister goes back.

My sister and nephew’s teacher Liz are trying to get an organization going to be able to keep helping kids in need around the world.  They have started a website that is a work in progress,  Liz has been blogging about some of her experiences while she is in Ghana.  Check it out, the website is called nurturing nations.

Since I think every blog needs a picture, here are a couple of things that I have made lately.

This is a apron and hot pads that I made for my nephews wife to be. I thought I would try a pleat thing with a contrasting fabric.

This is a bunny that I made for my son’s friend.  My daughter (pictured above) made the pattern and made a bunny for her and when my son saw it he said that is what he wanted me to make for his friends birthday.
